shougai's Commission Information

Currently, the only payment methods available are credit/debit card (through VGen only) and PayPal.

Payment must be paid upfront only. I do not do partial payments. I will not do a sketch before payment. Upfront only.

I have the right to decline any commission I do not feel comfortable with regardless of reason without having to explain myself.

I will only begin on the artwork once I have received 100% of the payment upfront and in full.

Prices on commissions are usually base prices unless stated otherwise and might increase depending on what is asked for.

Conmercial use of my artwork is not allowed, regardless if it has been commissioned or not.

Characters that do not have any visual references will be an additional surcharge, starting at 10$ and going up to 50$ depending on complexity.

Additional characters are 100% of the price, and can go up to two characters per artwork only.

If the character design does not have clear visual references, I reserve the right to decline the commission.

I own the rights to my art, regardless whether it is a commission or not, and will post it to my gallery or other social media.

Please do not edit my art in any way, or post it anywhere without asking for permission.

All art that has permission to be posted must have explicit credit linking to me, either to my twitter (@tsukinoyomi), my commission website or my VGen.

You may not re-sale nor reproduce my art in any way, shape, or form. Although making personal items for yourself with art you have commissioned from me is okay.

Clients are not permitted, under any circumstances, to use any part of their commissioned artwork for non-fungible tokens nor anything related to cryptocurrency. Use of the art for any advertising or profits associated with non-fungible tokens or cryptocurrency is strictly prohibited.

Reproducing or otherwise using the commissioned artwork in any manner for purposes of training artificial intelligence technologies to generate images or videos, including without limitation, technologies that are capable of generating images or videos in the same style or genre as the artwork is prohibited, as is sublicensing others to reproduce and/or otherwise use the commissioned artwork in any manner for purposes of training artificial intelligence technologies to generate images or videos. In short:

Feeding my art to any sort of AI image generation is prohibited and will result in being blacklisted.

Relating my art to AI in any way is prohibited and will result in being blacklisted.

I take weekends (Saturday and Sunday) off, so please do not expect me to finish art during those days nor rush me.

I can work slowly sometimes, and do not tend to finish artwork in less than a day or two, so please have patience with me. If any problems arise that affect my productivity, or for any reason think it might take longer than expected, I will let you know beforehand.

I will send images of the art progress during all stages (as in sketch, line art, flat color, shading) to make sure it's coming out as expected by the commissioner.

Once finished, you will be sent a link of the artwork in its full quality so you can see if it is to your liking (if the platform through which the transaction happens has image compression, otherwise no link will be given).

I tend to ask questions related to the commission and the character I will be drawing, so please do not get upset at me for doing so! This is so that I do not miss any details and get a clear image of what you'd like.

The sketch is the only time I will add/edit things UNLESS the finished picture has a mistake that was my fault. I will NOT redo entire pictures unless the mistake is grave enough which will have to be determined by myself on a case to case basis.

I DO NOT do refunds. If I have already started the sketch, I will not refund.

I only refund if it's been over 3 months with no progress from me. However, if for any reason I can't do the commission, I will let you know and refund on my own accord.
